Broken spring replacement
We replace torsion and extension springs, add safety cables to extension springs, and balance the door so it holds its position. Springs are $250-$450.

North Las Vegas is its own city, separate from Las Vegas, with its own city council, building department and police. It stretches from the older streets near Las Vegas Boulevard North and Cheyenne Avenue up to Aliante and the newer communities along the 215 Beltway.
We repair garage doors across North Las Vegas: broken springs, snapped cables, off-track doors and openers that won't respond. We're licensed in Nevada (#0083315) and open 24 hours, and we carry the common parts so most jobs are finished on the first visit.
Call (702) 888-0842. Open 24 hours. Need help right now? See our 24-hour garage door repair in North Las Vegas page.
We cover all the main North Las Vegas ZIP codes. 89030 is the historic core near Las Vegas Boulevard North and Craig Ranch Regional Park. 89031 runs from Craig Ranch toward the southern edge of Aliante. 89032 covers the Cheyenne Avenue, Simmons Street and Craig Road corridor. 89081 is the east side toward Nellis Air Force Base. 89084 takes in Aliante and Sun City Aliante, and 89086 covers the far north near Tropical Parkway and the Beltway.
The main roads we use are Craig Road, Cheyenne Avenue, Lake Mead Boulevard, Ann Road, Centennial Parkway and the 215 east to west, and Decatur, Simmons, Clayton, Losee, Lamb and Las Vegas Boulevard North north to south. We reach North Las Vegas from our shop by US 95 and the Beltway.

A lot of our North Las Vegas calls come from the middle of the city, along Craig Road between I-15 and the 95 and down Civic Center Drive toward City Hall and Cheyenne Avenue. This part of town is mostly ZIP 89030 and 89032, with some 89031 to the north and west.
Around Craig Road you'll find a mix of 1980s and 1990s single-storey homes, newer infill subdivisions, townhomes and rentals. Near Craig Ranch Regional Park and the streets off Commerce Street and Losee Road, we see a lot of builder torsion springs that are 20 years old or more, openers without battery backup, and doors with dents from cars and bins. Closer to Civic Center Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard, homes are older, and we still find extension springs without safety cables, worn wood or early steel doors, and openers that no longer reverse properly.
On these older doors, our first job is to make the door safe. That usually means fitting safety cables on extension springs, replacing worn cables and rollers, and testing the auto-reverse and photo-eyes. If a door is beyond repair, we'll say so plainly and give you the replacement price, but most doors here can be repaired.
Many homes along Craig Road and Civic Center are rentals. We work with owners, tenants and property managers, and we can send photos and notes of the repair to whoever is paying. Prices are the same as the rest of North Las Vegas, and you hear them before we start.
North Las Vegas has two very different kinds of housing. The southern part, around 89030 and 89032, has homes from the 1950s to the 1980s, many with single-car garages, extension springs and older wood or thin steel doors. We often find springs without safety cables, tracks pieced together over the years and openers with no working safety sensors.
North of Craig Road, and especially in Aliante, Eldorado and the communities along Ann Road and Centennial Parkway, most homes were built from the late 1990s on. Those have steel doors with torsion springs and builder-grade openers. The common calls there are broken builder springs on homes 10 to 20 years old, snapped cables, worn rollers and openers whose boards have failed.
Sun City Aliante is an age-restricted community, and many of our calls there come from homeowners who can't lift a door by hand when the opener fails. We get there quickly and test the auto-reverse carefully, since a door that doesn't stop is a real risk.
In the older neighbourhoods around Cheyenne Avenue, Civic Center Drive and Las Vegas Boulevard North, our most common jobs are extension spring replacement, adding safety cables, re-hanging old tracks and replacing openers that no longer reverse. In Aliante, Eldorado and along Ann Road and Centennial Parkway, it's mostly broken builder torsion springs, snapped cables, worn rollers and opener board failures.
Near Nellis and on the east side in 89081, we do a lot of remote and keypad reprogramming for new owners and tenants. Wherever you are in North Las Vegas, the prices are the same, and you hear them before we start.
Homes on the open north edge of the valley get a lot of blowing dust. Dust wears rollers and tracks, and high wind can push an unbalanced door off its tracks. Summer days over 100°F wear out seals and opener electronics.
When NWS Las Vegas posts a wind or heat warning, keep a struggling door closed and call us.
We replace torsion and extension springs, add safety cables to extension springs, and balance the door so it holds its position. Springs are $250-$450.
We repair and replace openers, re-pair remotes and keypads, align sensors and test auto-reverse in line with UL 325. New openers are $550-$950.
Off-track doors, snapped cables, worn rollers and bent tracks are $150-$350. We secure the door before anything else.
We fix dented panels, replace bottom seals and do $89-$129 tune-ups.
You call or book, and we give you an arrival window. Same-day visits are normal across North Las Vegas, and we answer the phone 24 hours a day. If the door is stuck open or a car is trapped, tell us, and we treat it as an emergency.
When the technician arrives, they check the whole door along with the part that failed: the springs, cables, drums, rollers, hinges, tracks, opener and safety sensors. You get a plain explanation of what's wrong and a fixed price before any work starts. If you'd rather not go ahead, you're under no pressure.
Once the repair is done, we balance the door so it stays in place when it's half open, lubricate the moving parts and test the auto-reverse and photo-eye sensors. We also tell you about any parts that look close to failing, so there are no surprises later.
Any of these is worth a call. Most of them get worse and more expensive the longer the door keeps running. Don't try to adjust or remove springs yourself. They hold a lot of tension, and DASMA advises leaving spring work to trained technicians.
These are the same ranges we post for the rest of the valley. You get the exact price before any work starts.
